About Us

A Safe Place. A Stable Tomorrow.

Alamosa House was founded on a simple belief: every person deserves a safe, comfortable place to call home.

Why Alamosa House

For many older men, veterans, and individuals living on SSI, SSDI, or a fixed income, stable housing has become harder to find every year. Where rents keep rising while incomes stay the same, Alamosa House offers one affordable monthly rate. Where a single increase or unexpected bill can upend a monthly budget, our rate covers utilities, Wi-Fi, cable, laundry, and maintenance, with no surprises. Where capable men are left choosing between unsafe housing and paying for care they don't need, we provide independent living that honors their ability to care for themselves. Where living alone can mean isolation, we offer the companionship of a shared home, with comfortable spaces for conversation, meals, and quiet mornings on the patio. And where too few options exist between living alone and assisted living, Alamosa House fills the gap with a safe, substance-free, well-cared-for home where every resident keeps his independence, routines, and dignity.

Our Commitment

We are committed to providing a home that is safe, respectful, and well cared for. We work alongside residents, families, case managers, and referral partners to make every move-in a gentle one, and to give every man who walks through our door a steady, peaceful place to rest each night.

Alamosa House: a safe, respectful place where you can live independently and feel at home.

Vision Statement

We envision a community where no older adult, veteran, or person on a fixed income has to face the later chapters of life without a secure place to call home: where rising costs and uncertain housing give way to stability, independence, and peace of mind.

Mission Statement

Alamosa House provides safe, affordable, substance-free shared housing for seniors, veterans, and individuals on a fixed income who are able to live independently. We offer a peaceful, well-cared-for home where residents can keep their independence, dignity, and daily routines while enjoying the comfort and companionship of a stable community.
